A Feast for Crows

A Feast for Crows - George R.R. Martin Though I throughly enjoy this series, this book dragged on for me. It was very hard to get through the last 25% and I just don't know if I want to pick up the next book. I think I should push through it but... maybe a break is what I need.

Shadow Kiss

Shadow Kiss - Richelle Mead Amazing! Very difficult to put down with a lot of excitement. I'm so glad the entire series is out because there is no way I could wait to start the next book!

If This Is Paradise, I Want My Money Back: A Novel

If This Is Paradise, I Want My Money Back: A Novel - Claudia Carroll Funny and heart-warming! There were times I couldn't put the book down due to sheer amusement to see how it turned out. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I Know This Much Is True

I Know This Much Is True - Wally Lamb What an emotional roller coaster ride...!

A Storm of Swords

A Storm of Swords - George R.R. Martin I loved and hated this book! If I was actually reading it (I'm listening to the audible version) I'd have thrown it across the room, at one point. The number on thing I like about this series is its unpredictability. On to book 4!

Vampire Academy

Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead At first it took me a while to understand the "world" in which Rose and Lissa lived in, but I like the immersion into it rather than being told. Rose's attitude got annoying at times but overall I really liked the relationships and the story. Looking forward to continuing the series.

Rebirth

Rebirth - Kelley Armstrong Interesting vampire concept!

Something Blue

Something Blue - Emily Giffin This is definitely chick lit! And since I read "Something Borrowed" first, I breezed through the first half in no time, relishing the other perspective. Once the story moved past that it did slow down slightly but eventually picked up speed again. It was nice to witness the transformation of Darcy and I like that the events and relationships stayed somewhat realistic. Kinda hope someone makes the sequel to the movie because it'd be fun to watch Kate Hudson and John Krasinski!

Sharp North

Sharp North - Patrick Cave I had a hard time getting into the story. It had a lot of promise, but I didn't want to spend any more than the 50 pages I read and still hadn't connected with the characters or what was going on. I think overall I was just lost in what was going on...

Something Borrowed

Something Borrowed - Emily Giffin Though I'm generally not a fan of "cheating", there was something relatable to Rachel's insecurities and being shadowed by Darcy. I am a big fan of chick-lit and chick-flicks so this really fits both categories!
